My Problem With “Once Upon a Time”

So… I recently Netflixed this series. I caught up to the show just in time for the season finale. And I have a problem.

And I’ve had this problem from the start.

So, no, I’m not going to talk about that little teaser at the end and the character they’re introducing next season. Because, really, until I see exactly what they do with her, I give zero fucks.

And I’m not going to talk about how positively irritating all this shit about Snow White and Charming and they’re star-crossed yet true love thing is. WE GET IT. They love each other. It took them a long time to get to that point. Do we have to keep having flashbacks and time travel and just basically revisit storylines that already super old and this show is only a few seasons in?!

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland has been canceled

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland

Bad news Once Upon a Time fans, Once a Upon a Time in Wonderland the spin-off of Once Upon a Time has been canceled.  Originally the creators of the show had envisioned airing Once Upon a Time in Wonderland as a mini-series that would bridge the gap between the seasons of Once Upon a Time.  ABC had instead chose to air the show in the difficult Thursday 8:00 pm slot.  That helped account for why the show is not coming back next season.

The good new is that Once Upon a Time in Wonderland was created as a one season story so fans will be getting a full complete story and season.  The creators had been hoping that the show would take off and that a new story with the Wonderland cast and world could be told.

Fan’s don’t worry just because the Wonderland spin-off did not work out, does not mean that the creators of Once Upon a Time might not try again with a different spin-off.
