A new season of Doctor Who is upon us, I am rather excited. Well actually I’m really excited for the Christmas special because River Song, seriously her and Capaldi are going to be amazing together. Now last season was not my fav, but I am curious to see where this season goes.
The new season of Doctor Who is here, these are the things that I would like to see after watching the first episode.
The newest Time Lord to come to screens in the new series of the beloved BBC show “Doctor Who” is Peter Capaldi. Capaldi’s casting was met with skepticism by fans who were rallying for the first ever female Doctor, or for a person of colour to be cast in the role. Alas, another white male was cast in the role.
But let’s face it, odds are fans will come to love him in time.
No doubt hoping to speed up the process of that acceptance, the BBC is putting Capaldi and on-screen companion Jenna Coleman (and, in some cities, head writer and executive producer Steven Moffat) will be traveling the globe to promote the new season, which airs in August on BBC America.
In anticipation of the next series of Doctor Who, we… Well, we just can’t wait.
So it’s time for Tardis Tips!
It’s like French tips… But completely unlike French tips.
For years, there has been Doctor Who merchandise that the fans have been going crazy over. For some unknown reason there has never been any Doctor Who merchandise with LEGO. It seems like Doctor Who and LEGO would go together, who wouldn’t want to build a TARDIS out of LEGO’s.
With site such as LEGO CUUSOO out there where fans can submit LEGO, ideas that can be voted on and possibly become a reality. I have voted for the LEGO X-Mansion and Wayne Manor in hopes that I will be able to buy those one-day. If this is the case then why no Doctor Who submissions?
Sometimes we have to turn down project submissions that refer to specific brands or licensed properties. We do this to avoid getting your hopes up for something we know we aren’t able to make. In these cases, we already know the LEGO Group can’t secure licensing rights to produce construction toys based on a particular brand or property, due to a conflicting interest with a third-party. If such a conflict goes away, we’ll then be able to accept projects based on a particular brand or license. – LEGO CUUSOO
Well Doctor Who fans, I have great news for you on Febuary 25th LEGO CUUSOO announced that they will begin accepting submissions for Doctor Who sets. The licensing conflicts have been resolved.
I hope this means some LEGO Doctor Who sets in the future, I know I would be happy to vote for some on LEGO CUUSOO.
