Sony Pictures Announces New Spider-Man, Director
Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios announced that they have found their new Spider-Man, 19-year-old British actor Tom Holland. Holland is currently rumoured to be playing the webhead in both the next reboot (sigh) and “Captain America: Civil War” (gasp!).
Chosen to direct is director Jon Watts, whose recent film “Cop Car” made its debut at Sundance this past year.
The next Spider-Man movie, which is as yet unnamed, will be released in theaters in IMAX and 3D on July 28, 2017.
