There are some great new shows coming out this fall that we are excited for such as Gotham, Constantine and The Flash.  We are looking forward to seeing how those shows come along.  We are also looking forward to seeing Agent Carter during the winter break.  We are also looking forward to the announcement of when Galavant will be airing.

Be sure to check with us in the fall as we recap some of these shows.

Big Bang Theory teams up with Lucasfilms

Anyone who has seen Big Bang Theory knows that they are a huge group of geeks/nerds and that they love Star Wars.  Well the creators of the show contacted Lucasfilms to help them create an episode in honor of May 4th, which is the unofficial Star Wars Day.

Lucasfilms helped create Degobah which is the swamp, forest area that Yoda lived in exile on.  The episode will also include Bob Newhart who will be reprising his role as Professor Proton.  The creators of Big Bang Theory gave Bob Newhart a Star Wars movie to watch so he could better understand the episode.  Newhart will be taking on the role of a one the iconic characters – no word on who at this time, I would be put money on Obi-Won.  Newhart will actually be using a real lightsaber in the episode that Lucasfilms helped them create.

Keep an eye out for this episode of Big Bang Theory, it is sent to air on May 1st.

Big Bang Theory renewed for 3 more seasons.

Big Bang Theory

CBS just renewed the Big Bang Theory for 3 more seasons.  Big Bang Theory is one of the most watched and highest rated TV shows on right now.  It makes sense for the network to renew the show for another season but for 3 seasons that is a huge investment.

“Comedy is a big part of our schedule, and THE BIG BANG THEORY is the biggest comedy force on television,” said Nina Tassler, Chairman, CBS Entertainment. “This multi-year deal further strengthens our network’s position for future seasons and marks another chapter in the great partnership CBS enjoys with Warner Bros. Television for delivering audiences the best in comedy. We’re proud to work with and showcase the incredible talents of Chuck Lorre, Steve Molaro and this amazing cast every week.”

The studio has a lot of confidence in Big Bang Theory, I agree that it is a great show.  It has only gotten better as the seasons progressed and I love the inclusion of Bernadette and Amy Farrah Fowler into the main cast.  I am interested in seeing where they take the show over the next 3 upcoming seasons.  I would love to see more with Sheldon and Amy’s relationship.

Here is to another 3 more season’s with Big Bang Theory.
