Fall Finale Review Part 2
Here is part 2 of the fall finale review as we take a look at some of the other shows on hiatus.
Mark Hamill will be returning to TV as Trickster.
News broke today that Mark Hamill will be reprising his role as Trickster on CW’s The Flash. Mark Hamill originally played the character on the 90’s Flash series on CBS.
His character will be a bit different in this version:
“In this new iteration, The Trickster is an anarchist terrorist con man serving a life sentence in Iron Heights who helps Barry (Grant Gustin) and Det. West (Jesse L. Martin) to foil the city-wide attacks of a wannabe Trickster eagerly following in the original’s deadly footsteps. The episode will reunite him with John Wesley Shipp who went up against him as the original ‘Flash’ on the CBS version.”
CW is going a bit of a different route, the Trickers will not be the goofy prankster that he had been in the original version. It will still be nice to see Mark Hamill back in the role and to see him reunited with original Flash – John Wesley Snipp.
This is not Hamill’s first time playing a comic books character, he is very well known as the voice of the Joker from Batman: The Animated Series. He reprised that role in Arkham Asylum and Akrham City video games.
He is probably most known for playing Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars films. We can see him reprise that role next year in Star War: The Force Awakens.
We will see him first as the Trickster next spring on The Flash.
