Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios announced that they have found their new Spider-Man, 19-year-old British actor Tom Holland. Holland is currently rumoured to be playing the webhead in both the next reboot (sigh) and “Captain America: Civil War” (gasp!).

Chosen to direct is director Jon Watts, whose recent film “Cop Car” made its debut at Sundance this past year.

The next Spider-Man movie, which is as yet unnamed, will be released in theaters in IMAX and 3D on July 28, 2017.

Spider-Man Officially COMING HOME to the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Word is out that our favourite Web Head’s Sony movie franchise is about to get some help from Marvel Studios, and this has most nerds speculating that Spidey just might be swinging into the “Civil War” movie due out in a few years!

Okay... Now lose the pants.

Ezra Miller to Play “The Flash” in “Batman v. Superman,” and I Don’t Care

(As you may be able to tell, I have lost all ability to mask my disdain at all things DC movie universe. But on with the article… )

Ezra Miller (“The Perks of Being a Wallflower”) has been cast as the Flash for an appearance in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” but it is still unknown as to what capacity we will be seeing any of the second tier JLA-ers in. Miller’s casting also has led some non-disillusioned fans to speculate as to which of the men to bear the mantle of the Flash he will be playing.

RDJ to Appear in Cap 3 In Huge “FUCK YOU” to WB’s Batman v. Superman

Ah. Ah, this makes me feel better. After the boiling rage brought on by the confirmation that Wonder Woman’s first movie appearance is going to feature her shitty New 52 origin, a bit of good news from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Also, maybe even a little bit of unusual schadenfreude on my part.

Wonder Woman to Have New 52 Origin in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice”

So… That basically says it right there. Diana will now be just another bastard child of Zeus which, by the way, is literally the world’s oldest cliche. It also has taken the origin story of the most feminist comic book character of all time and made it dependent on a man.

What is that supposed to be at her feet?

What is that supposed to be at her feet?

Producer Charles Roven stated in an interview that she’s “a demi-god. Her father was Zeus.”

I Ain’t Afraid of No Ghost! – “Ghostbusters” Sequel to Feature Funny Female Cast!

Director Paul Feig has confirmed that a “Ghostbusters” sequel is finally in the works. For those unfamiliar with Feig’s work, he has directed such memorable (and frankly fantastic) female-driven comedies as “Bridesmaids” and “The Heat.” He also brought us the short-lived cult classic “Freaks and Geeks,” and played the role of Mr. Eugene Pool on “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.”

With a director like that, I’m already psyched! But let’s also throw in that he’s teaming up with “The Heat” wwriter Katie Dippold again to pen the script!

They’re Making a Tetris Movie and I No Longer Understand the World

So… That title’s pretty self explanatory. But let’s talk about it anyways.

It's all a metaphor, man.

Costume Analysis – Wonder Woman in “Dawn of Justice”

Okay. Right off the bat. We’re not addressing the casting. We’re not talking about Gadot or her acting chops or her figure. We’re just talking costume dynamics.
